Dunes over Danvar Part 3 Sand Hawk eBook Michael Bunker
Review from Dunes over Danvar Omnibus:Very cool addition to the Sand universe created by Hugh Howey. Nice twists and mystery to take us from start to finish. Michael did a great job showing us more of the action one can experience in this world's sand diving technology. I would have liked more exploration, but this isn't an epic novel. Considering that, I liked the characters and left their story glad to have met them. Michael did a great job showing the conflict of this world through them. Treasure hunting, lost cities, pirates, and unsuspecting characters they should and shouldn't trust made this a fun adventure.

Dunes over Danvar Part 3 Sand Hawk eBook Michael Bunker Reviews
This is the third and final book of the series. A nice short story the runs along side the Sand books.
A good read and nice ending to the series. It moves fast and the plot is good. I definitely recommend it if you have read the previous books. If not, start with those. Hope you read Sand as well.
If you enjoyed reading Hugh Howey’s Sand, this book is for you. Dunes over Danvar is a wonderful read. I absolutely loved this book. Before diving into this final part, I reread parts one and two. It’s exciting and a bit humorous, with a wonderful ending. There is also a great mix of characters, the Poet, my favorite, is fascinating.
The adventure continues. Absolutely wonderful writing from this author. His character development and story telling skills are the best. My only problem with these "series" novels is waiting for the next one. I read this author's Pennsylvania and Silo Archipelago series after they were complete and loved them both. Do yourself a favor - read anything you can find by Michael Bunker. You won't be sorry!
Dunes over Danvar is the third and final book in this series based on Hugh Howey's Sand. Michael Bunker does not disappoint as he concludes this story that has good character development and a really interesting plot. The four main characters in Sand Hawk were an interesting group, and their adventure pulled me right in there with them. The ending was great, and left me with a big smile on my face.
This is just a good, original post-apocalyptic story with a great - suspend your disbelief - type of technology. real human behavior, and not a YA book of this type. There are enough of those. The characters are written well but not overly so. The story arc is unpredictable. I only wish the series was longer.
Building on Hugh Howey's "Sand" this 3rd part of the 3 part series "Dunes Over Danver" definitely keeps your interest as you follow Peary, Marisa, and the Poet to the exciting conclusion of the story. Set in the same time frame as Hugh Howey's "Sand," this story expands "Sand's" storyline to include others who were swept into the chaos and destruction. Showing that "life will always struggle to survive," we follow a diver, his girlfriend, and a random stranger-the poet-and hope... expect... want... goodness to triumph. Does it? The conclusion will satisfy you. Buy it. Read it. Enjoy it!
Part 1- the introduction.
Part 2- the climax
Part 3- the conclusion
When I first started to read Dunes over Danvar, only parts 1 & 2 were available. I was disappointed when part 2 ended because it leaves off as a cliff hanger. This created a lack of momentum when starting to read part 3 (reason for 4 stars instead of 5).
If you enjoyed part 1 and plan on getting part 2, I would highly recommend buying part 3 at the same time. Part 3 feels, could be, shorter than the previous entries but offers the satisfaction of a conclusion.
Overall, a great, short story that I would recommend.
